Would like to give a shout-out to the organizers of this year's Bocas LitFest which was held online over four days in late April. This year's theme was focused on changing the world in the face of threats from global climate change and increasing social inequalities. It was enlightening to see the wealth of talent within the Caribbean region, from both the English and Spanish-speaking regions. I was particularly impressed with the open-mic events which started each session, with spoken word being a personal favourite. I look forward to next year's festival and hope it will be live once again while continuing the practice of taping sessions to allow the diaspora around the globe to partake. Inclusion from our French brethren would also be nice to see.
